Ace’s Place

The Ace’s Place Playroom is a safe place, free from medical intrusion and designed to be a comfortable retreat for children of all ages.  The playroom was made possible by the Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation, which focuses on the well-being of hospitalized children by improving hospital environments that improve family-centered care.

Developmentally appropriate toys and activities are available for children of all ages from infants to adolescents. They can participate in the many activities including playing pool or arcade games; using the computer; enjoying arts and crafts, or taking advantage of the outdoor deck that provides sunlight and fresh air.

Parents are always welcome as well as siblings with parental supervision. Attendance is based on infection control guidelines and medical approval.  Child Life provides supervised play/activity sessions Monday through Saturday in the playroom which is located on the eight floor of the Tufts Medical Center.

Our hours are 10-12 in the morning and 2-4 in the afternoon.
