The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston provides consultations for children who are being treated for elevated blood pressure and hypertension. Our expert doctors offer a comprehensive evaluation including 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, which is the gold standard for diagnosing white coat hypertension.
During the evaluation, we work closely with Pediatric Cardiology to monitor your child's heart function. We also provide your family with access to a nutritionist to help your child maintain a heart healthy diet. In the rare cases where treatment may require surgery, we have excellent Pediatric Surgery and Interventional Radiology teams who assist us.
