Prenatal Consults

Complete Planning and Preparation for Your Baby's Delivery

When you’re pregnant, you want to be as prepared as possible. When you have a high-risk pregnancy, planning ahead is even more important. In the Division of Newborn Medicine at Tufts Medical Center, we work closely with our colleagues in Maternal-Fetal Medicine to offer prenatal consultations to women who have or develop medical problems during pregnancy, who have obstetrical complications or who are otherwise at risk for abnormal conditions.

Meet with Us Today for Even Greater Reassurance

We encourage you to meet with us a few months before your due date. By building a relationship with us now, our neonatologists can describe what to expect in the delivery room and help ease your mind about your newborn’s care when that magical moment arrives. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss possible treatment plans and gain reassurance about the process. And we’ll be present during delivery, either at our main Boston campus or one of our community affiliates, so we can begin providing expert care for your baby immediately.
