Alexis Davis, LICSW is a Clinical Social Worker in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center. Her mission is to provide judgement-free guidance to families in need of effective behavior management for children. Using a strengths-based perspective, she helps parents choose the right tools to fit their needs and the needs of their children, with the goal of preserving, restoring or rebuilding positive relationships.

Alexis is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with a Master of Social Work from Boston College. In practice, she has applied training experience in a wide range of settings including acute residential treatment centers, hospitals, schools and correctional facilities.

For more than 10 years, Alexis has guided pediatricians in the care of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues through the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project at Tufts Medical Center. During her tenure, she was introduced to Incredible Years and Triple P — two key evidenced-based curricula that form the basis for her consulting practice. Throughout her career, Alexis has had the privilege of working with people in diverse contexts and has served a wide variety of populations, which makes her confident that she can help families find the appropriate techniques and approaches for their individual needs.

On a personal level, Alexis is now challenged to “practice what she preaches,” in the evolution of her relationships with her own two young boys.
