After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Shirley Huang, MD attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco before returning to Boston for a pediatrics residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. After completing residency, Dr. Huang held positions as a staff physician at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as faculty positions at Weill Cornell Medical School in New York City and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Huang's academic interests include optimizing care for children with special health care needs and complex medical conditions, school-based research, obesity and population health program development. Moving back to Boston again, Dr. Huang has most recently been the Pediatric Medical Director for the New England Quality Care Alliance in addition to practicing pediatrics in clinic.
