Lowell General Hospital’s main and Saints campuses along with Merrimack Valley Cardiology located in North Chelmsford have been granted a three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in the area of Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography.

The American College of Cardiology has recognized Lowell General Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in caring for patients who receive diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures.

In the 2020 US News & World Report Best Hospital Rankings, Lowell General Hospital was ranked 7th best in the Greater Boston region and the top community hospital in the area.

Lowell General Hospital’s Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program was awarded certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). AACVPR Program Certification is recognition of our commitment to improving the quality of life of patients by enhancing our standards of care.
