TeamWalk for CancerCare teams walked on their terms again this year, but that didn’t stop them from collectively raising more than $410,000 for cancer patients across the Merrimack Valley, topping last year’s total.
Lawrence, Mass. – As Marlene Cerulli’s long battle with breast cancer neared its end last summer, her family turned to Merrimack Valley Hospice and its partnership with York Hospital Hospice to keep the longtime Melrose resident comfortable while surrounded by family in her favorite place: her beach house at York, Maine.
No one would have been surprised if this year’s Lowell General Hospital Sun Santa Themed Basket Raffle fell a little short of expectations. After all, the baskets could not be viewed in person and the annual festive drawing was done without an audience.
