A full spectrum of dermatologic care

As an adult, you know that clear, healthy skin can have a big effect on your self-esteem. Kids are no different. At Tufts Medical Center’s Pediatric Dermatology Clinic, we treat skin concerns in pediatric patients of all ages, from infancy to adolescence.

Whether your baby is irritated by eczema, your child has a stubborn fungal skin infection or your teen is coping with cystic acne, our skilled clinicians can help. We offer the full spectrum of therapeutic options for minor, moderate, and severe pediatric dermatologic conditions, so you can feel confident that your child is receiving the best possible care.

Routine to the complex skin issues

Our team of clinicians has the expertise to treat the conditions that affect young patients most. In addition, we care for babies, children, and teens with a wide range of other dermatologic issues, including warts, moles, eczema and birthmarks, as well as provide routine skin examinations when needed.

Partnering with parents

Our clinicians take the time to explain your child’s condition and discuss therapeutic options with you, so you know what to expect. But treatment is only one aspect of optimal skin care: self-care matters, too. We work with you to help teach healthy skin habits that last a lifetime. For example, if your child has been diagnosed with eczema, we educate you about home care, such as a proper bathing routine, as well as about treatment. We want you, the parent, to be an active partner in your child’s care.
