Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence or enuresis refers to the inability to control urination, resulting in "wetting." this can occur during the day or at night for a number of different reasons. Nocturnal or nighttime enuresis is also called bedwetting and is the most common type of enuresis in children over 5 years old. Incontinence in children is most often not due to organic factors, but more commonly occurs related to developmental issues and bladder capacity.
