The Toughlings have taken over our Pediatric Emergency Department! Each patient room now has friendly, colorful illustrations everywhere you look — the walls, the windows and even the ceilings. Like our patients, the Toughlings are tiny but mighty, and they are living in the ER to remind your child that you don't have to be big to be strong. We've also redesigned our playroom into a fun and uplifting space for your child to do what they do best — be a kid.
This work was done with the generous donation of the Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation, which aims to to reduce the stress of pediatric hospitalization by creating environments that are less clinical in appearance and more comforting and soothing for children and their families.
