Dr. Stanley Lau is a pediatric gastroenterologist. He was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended Boston University, obtaining a BA in biochemistry and molecular biology, a BA in psychology, and a minor in public health. He then worked in bench research, learning more about the immune system, before going back to Boston University to obtain his medical degree.
Dr. Lau completed his pediatric residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at New York Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Medical Center. During his fellowship, he did research into how social media can be utilized in academic medicine.
Dr. Lau is excited to be back in his home town, taking care of the community he grew up in. He’s enjoying being closer to his family, cheering for his sports teams and taking care of his rescue puppy.
