Vascular Surgery Research

Overview

Vascular Surgery research has a long tradition of excellence at Tufts Medical Center. Our vascular surgeons have used their clinical expertise and research interests to make significant contributions to the field. We are on the forefront of new breakthroughs in cellular therapies, wound care, radiation safety, venous disease and aneurysms.

Current research

Current research projects include:

  1. Cellular therapies for critical limb ischemia
  2. Radiation safety during endovascular procedures
  3. Advanced wound care modalities
  4. Clinical and basic science aspects of venous disease
  5. Hemodynamic modeling of AAAs
